I offer flexible payment options, opportunity for discounts, will consider bartering for services, and I accept CHP+. In addition, most insurance companies will cover midwives as "out of network" providers. I can help you determine if your insurance will cover all or part of the cost.

My fee includes:

• All prenatal visits
• Nutrition counseling 
• Periodic hemoglobin and/or glucose tests
• Continuous labor and delivery care
• Birth assistant fees
• Newborn exam
• Breastfeeding support
• Six weeks of postpartum care for mother and baby

Additional fees you may incur :

• $90-$130 for labwork
• $50 for birth supply kit
• $130 for RhoGam to Rh negative mothers
• $70 for Newborn Screen (PKU) tests
• Prenatal vitamins and nutritional supplements
• Ultrasound or other health care provider costs you may need or request

I offer a free consultation to become acquainted, answer your questions, address any concerns, and explain my fees.  Once hired as your midwife, I will provide you with a Financial Contract which allows you the opportunity to determine your own payment plan and explains my policies in detail.  I require a $300 non-refundable deposit at your first prenatal visit, and the full fee is due by the 36th week. If you have insurance coverage, your insurance company will be billed after the delivery date for your reimbursement.

Making installment payments at each prenatal visit is encouraged – it not only helps spread out the cost for you, it will also help us develop the trusting relationship needed to work together effectively.
